Buyers will be expecting the curate staged look, and may be turned off if it’s not there.
Often we have clients that move over of their old home before it sells. Not all buyers are able to visualize how a home would function if it were completely void of furniture. In this instance, your real estate agent may suggest staging or staging later if the empty listing doesn’t perform well.
Pros of Staging a Home
There are three main tips home sellers should always follow before listing a home- clean, declutter, and depersonalize. Staging a home really handles all three of these items. Staged furniture will remove your presence from the home, allowing buyers to better visualize themselves in the space. Having empty storage will also make the home feel larger and cleaner.
A staged home can also benefit you in other ways such as:
